The One Life Foundation was founded to achieve three goals:

  • Research and identify new and compelling methods for presenting stories of the hungry, sick, poor, and homeless, in all parts of the World, to a broader audience,
  • To more effectively motivate the public to take action on famine, disease, poverty, and displacement, and
  • To support the work of other non-profit organizations by communicating details of their programs via print, screen, and on-line media channels.

These goals are being achieved with the application of "Photojournalism for Cultural Resolution", a newly developed style of photojournalism-based communication and education, which re-awakens audience interest and motivates them to take positive action.

Now everyone can get involved with this project that is re-awakening public interest in those who live with on-going catastrophic situations.  Here are the challenges we are dealing with.

Thoraya Ahmed Obaid, Executive Director, UNFPA
